No, I'll not share this day
For such a thing has an end;
I'll share forever and within me you'll stay.
I'll not count the minutes or hours
For time has no place or piece to mend;
In my heart, in yours is a home that's ours.
I'll not say good night or goodbye
I'll simply close my eyes and smile;
Only the mingling hearts know the why.
I'll not be sad at the time apart
Such a thing tells of times lost;
And no place in the tales of the heart.
When love is true, there is no end
It wakes each day with a smile to the coming Sun;
Life, hearts, journey, friend.
No, I'll not share this day
For such a thing has an end;
Forever my love, within me you'll stay.

Lost Angels
Lost Angels
Their grace, their strength, their loving smile;
A thousand laughs, they lifted our hearts.
Their warm embrace, melting our worries away
They were the sunshine in our lives.
Making each day a little brighter
They were the stars at night
Guiding us from all the dark.
They were the foundation
We built our lives, our homes, our families;
They made us laugh, made us cry.
But never did we doubt the love they had;
We all remember that one day among the many
Their look, that moment, replayed over and over.
We are thankful for all the days
Sharing the lives of beautiful souls.
Maybe they didn't change the world
But they changed ours, making us better.
Bringing laughs, smiles, happiness, joy, warmth;
A thousand other little things that made our lives complete.
We will miss our fallen Angels,
And never forget how they touched our lives.
And knowing our goodbyes are temporary
We shall meet them again in the afterlife.
Our tears of sorrow will once again
Become tears of joy, of love.
Today though we remember,
We remember them for the beautiful people they were
Filling our lives and our hearts.
Their grace, their strength, their loving smile;
A thousand laughs, they lifted our hearts.
Their warm embrace, melting our worries away
They were the sunshine in our lives.
Making each day a little brighter
They were the stars at night
Guiding us from all the dark.

I See
I see the world ever changing
I see the people growing
I see all that was, disappearing
I see all that will be, gaining;
I see the stars, shining
I see the oceans, waning
I see cultures, mixing;
I see colors, colliding
I see birds, soaring
I see little fish, swimming
I see ancient statues still standing
I see modern houses, collapsing;
I see babies, laughing
I see children, playing
I see fast bikes, revving
I see antiques, cruising;
I see beaches, glistening
I see mountains, everlasting
I see metropolises, flourishing
I see small towns, dwindling;
I see fresh snow, blanketing
I see heavy rains, flooding
I see art, inspiring
I see governments, conspiring;
I see couples, loving
I see marriages, ending
I see hands, holding
I see arms, embracing
I see families, uniting;
I see old values, dying
I see large companies, compiling
I see little shops still trying;
I see hatred still existing
I see knowledge as learning
I see individuals, hiding
I see the youth still striving;
I see flames, igniting
I see spring flowers, blooming
I see fireworks, exploding
I see the yearly births, celebrating
I see history, repeating;
I see Halloween, scaring
I see Christmas, twinkling
I see New Years, hoping
I see the future...
I see the people growing
I see all that was, disappearing
I see all that will be, gaining;

A Mother's Embrace
A Mother's embrace, is warm and tender
Filled with love and a magical splendor.
It soothes, when boo boos appear
It comforts, when thunder boomers are near.
It encourages, when all seems lost
It protects, no harm at any cost!
When we're weary, she tucks us in
When we're dreary, she makes us smile.
When we're lonely, she reminds us
She was there, all the while.
A Mother is a wonderous cosmic enlightenment
A blanketing warmth of everlasting smiles,
Understanding, patience and enjoyment.
She brings light even to the darkest night.
She brings kisses and even wishes,
A thousand hugs and heartfelt conversations
Pictures and loving memories at all the celebrations.
A Mother's embrace, is a million stars
Shining in the night sky, forever lighting.
It's a field of flowers, beautiful and refreshing.
For your happiness, she's forever fighting.
In sickness, she's soothing
In sadness, she's listening and embracing.
In anger, she is a voice of reason
A pillar, nurturer, blanket and beacon.
Selfless, caressing, believing
A Mother, a Mother's embrace is... loving.
Filled with love and a magical splendor.
It soothes, when boo boos appear
It comforts, when thunder boomers are near.
It encourages, when all seems lost
It protects, no harm at any cost!

You see me, I see you...
Two sides of the same coin
Reflections, reflecting back at me
Magnets flipping to join.
One cannot escape, we all want to be free.
Free from the torments of yesterday
Of a thousand storms raging in our minds.
Holding the overwhelming floods at bay
When even the littlest of things, just reminds.
Of all that was, all that was lost.
Through the fog of yesterday we can't see the gain
Striving, searching we want the comfort at any cost.
The swelling tides, how they confuse and wane.
How can tomorrow tell new tales
New horizons, a future with a better you,
When each new prospect all but fails.
What is one supposed to do?
It's such a rare occurrence to find the same
To find your reflection in another.
But those fears, how do we tame?
The easy comfort, how do we smother?
I see you, you see me
Like no others, perhaps weirdos to the end.
After waiting a lifetime of what could be
Enough time with you, I could never spend.
Enjoyed a moment
Have you ever just enjoyed a moment?
The true essence of it?
Opening all your senses to that moment.
Suckled at the very heart of it,
Like a new born yearling, suckling it's momma.
Let yourself get lost in the wonderous
Magic that it is...
Time has no meaning, no depth
A second, a day, a week all lost to the cosmos.
A moment, a brief period of time as defined.
There is no ending till it's passed
It tantalizes us, plays with us, excites us.
Making us cry, smile, laugh
Maybe even your heart skip a beat.
It's that pause from life,
From all that usually is.
Let it dazzle you, surround you, absorb you.
For when it's gone...
All that remains is a memory.
The true essence of it?
Opening all your senses to that moment.
Suckled at the very heart of it,
Like a new born yearling, suckling it's momma.
Let yourself get lost in the wonderous
Magic that it is...
Time has no meaning, no depth
A second, a day, a week all lost to the cosmos.
A moment, a brief period of time as defined.

Maybe even your heart skip a beat.
It's that pause from life,
From all that usually is.
Let it dazzle you, surround you, absorb you.
For when it's gone...
All that remains is a memory.
A smile for tomorrow
If today would give you a smile.
If it would surround you in warmth.
And all the worried miles, became just one mile.
All the tomorrow's become a joyous place.
Yesterdays, a fading hint of once was,
And happy became tangible, creating our own space.
Our own moments, our own sunshine.
Is that the future you had in mind?
Because in your eyes, I can see mine.
If today would give you that smile
If it could shower you with hopes,
And all the waiting was made worthwhile.
Sunsets became celebrations for the coming night.
Stars, blankets covering a home
And sunrises bring joy with the coming light.
Butterflies and flying doves,
Is that the tomorrow to start all tomorrows?
An epic story, one of the rare loves.
If today would give you that smile
If it could wash away the sorrow,
And forever keep that beautiful smile.
Days fade to forever
Nights, comforting, touching dreams
Left behind is uttered, never.
Time becomes limitless in your embrace
Is that the eternal journey you wished for?
All the pain... we did erase.
If today would grant you that smile
And make all the yesterday's worthwhile
And keep you always, with that beautiful smile.

The Truest Essence
The Truest Essence
Love, in its purest essence
Is a volcanic explosion, sudden;
All at once, one is aware of its presence.
It asks for no glory or fame
Attention, it does demand;
A lingering thought, all the same.
It is the Thunder and Lightning
Clasping, colliding, booming!
Never forgotten, only subsiding.
It lingers, and plays in your mind
A favorite melody, humming, repeating;
No rules, no time, just mine.
So rare, it is mostly mistaken
My love, I've only just met thee?
Yet, my heart and all I am is taken.
That touch, the voice, that look
In a flash, a quickening;
It's all the words found in a romantic book.
Undeniably, and inescapably
One's own heart can go no further
An iron pillar, it stands faithfully.
Time and distance, does not subside
The lit fire, eternal flame forever burning;
It beckons, yearns, an alluring tide.
To love so absolute
A mountain, never faltering;
Such affection, one shall never dispute.
It is a calming peace
A tranquil moment, in all the turbulent;
A graceful lulliby, an orchestral piece.
Love, in its purest
Is beyond mere words and description
It's a sunset that shall not rest.
A falling star, forever falling
A flood, forever flooding
A northern star, never failing.
A million stars, shining in the night
Alone, never again;
A field of flowers, that beautiful sight.
"I love you" simply will not do
That mesmerizing, bewitching, spectacular grandeur;
Only that, my love for you, will forever hold true.
Love, in its purest essence
Is a volcanic explosion, sudden;
All at once, one is aware of its presence.

3 a.m. Phoenix
It's 3 am again, laying, thinking
Awake, eyes open blinking;
Staring into the darkness
In the night, I feel the loneliness;
Another Phoenix born
From a past ragged and torn.
We're meant to feel sorrow
From the loss, we look to tomorrow;
We're meant to remember and cry
Till our eyes are red and dry.
It causes us to learn
To reach out, to seek, to yearn;
To connect strangers
To wipe away all past angers;
Bringing new smiles and laughs
Another chance, at our other halfs.
We may never forget yesterday
But today dawns a new day;
Newborns, reaching out
With new joys that make us shout!
Phoenixes yearning, burning
Seeing that the world keeps turning;
That our shattered lives don't end
Just find new ways to mend.
Our torn and bruised heart
Piecing together part by part;
Knowing tomorrow brings new
Faces, kisses, misses, who knew?

I see you
I see you...
I see the elegant flair
I see more than the flick of your hair.
The walk in your steps, the glimmer in your eye.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist or secret spy.
I see you...
I see you hiding in that place few look,
I see you like the descriptive words in a classic book.
I see a beautiful flower,
I see the brilliant stars on a clear midnight hour.
I see you...
I know the loss and the pain,
I know that hurt... and the cause for restrain.
I know yesterday, but keep my faith in tomorrow.
That a new happiness can wash away the sorrow.
I see you...
I see a ridged mountain top, weathered by time
I see an oasis secluded and sublime.
I see a meadow filled with endless daisies,
I see a beach, two chairs and a pair of lazies.
I see you...
I see a home lost and forgotten,
The wood may be dusty, but is far from rotten.
A little work, some polish and love
She'll be right as rain and pretty as a dove.
I see you...

Reaching into the night...
In the dark, In that chilled dark. He reached out into the emptiness. The same emptiness he had become all to familiar with. That forever abyss, floating among the heavens. That well of endless depths, falling, falling. Many a nights he reached and grasped at the thought of hope. Reaching, like a child reaches for its parents bosom. Reaching like a plant growing in the jungle, yearning for an ounce of precious sunlight.
This night, he didn't reach. He didn't wonder what lied in that endless darkness. Comfort had touched him. Bled into his arms, a long lost exhilaration. There it was cradled in that moment. Caressing, surrounding, like the swaying of leaves in a mid-summer breeze.
He held tight to that moment. That timeless moment, forever a part of him. If only nurtured... what could that smallest of saplings be?
Dark and chill turn to warmth and light. Like Dawn's first light. Warming, heating, the fire rages on. Burning, Burning, scorching all in its flaming circle.
The once emptiness, now filled with... filled with a brightness. Surging in the darkness, growing, expanding, shining.
Waking, he reached into the night...
This night, he didn't reach. He didn't wonder what lied in that endless darkness. Comfort had touched him. Bled into his arms, a long lost exhilaration. There it was cradled in that moment. Caressing, surrounding, like the swaying of leaves in a mid-summer breeze.

Paradise
Paradise
If one were to ever ask if I would recognize
Or realize when I was in paradise.
I would say " why yes I've been!"
But it might not be where you think
It's not Palm trees, sand and some mixed drink.
It is a place that makes me grin.
Wether it's warm or cold
Their is no one I'd rather hold.
Cuddling and holding hands.
Beautiful eyes and sweet kisses
If I had a genie, she would be all three wishes.
Laying there in the night, listening to the bands.
Abbracciare, and whisper sweet things
Thoughts drift of what tomorrow brings.
You see, paradise is not just a place.
Paradise can be finding that special someone
You feel like you've just hit a home run!
Where you can't wait to see their face.
If one were to ever ask if I would recognize
Or realize when I was in paradise.
I would say " why yes I've been!"
But it might not be where you think
It's not Palm trees, sand and some mixed drink.

Forever the Hopeless
Forever the hopeless
A day like any other day,
She walked into his life
Ponytail, cute smile
On those front steps
Thought of her for quite awhile.
Never a day would go a miss
To see her and her little sis,
We connected that first day
Barely six years old
I''ll never forget that first kiss.
A new town, new faces;
Again the girl next door
Straight hair and little sister
Who knew? Of all the places
Me, the cutie and her sister.
We laughed, we played
Held hands and listened
As we left the grass where we laid.
Were these two girls fate
Or just some random chance?
Flight missed, delayed
Till later that night;
And wouldn't you know
Another girl also had missed her flight
Again, delayed Till later that night.
An airline mix up pushed to first class
Seated next to the girl delayed
We talked, laughed, exchanged numbers
Again, fate? What can I say
Well played!
On a bus bound for the natural state
I met that poetic girl
And in that moment you just knew
But the kiss we should have had
Would have to forever wait.
Its the dream we all wish for in reality
That spark that just won't die
The trick candles always burning
The feeling, you never have to question why?
Keeping your heart forever yearning.
It's the romantic movie, novel
Where true love is just meant to be
The eternal flame burning fierce
Maybe it's just the hopeless romantic in me
That cupid's arrow could pierce.
That a love could just happen
With no warning and last the ages
Some call it Destiny others Fatum
Ones life already writ on the pages
But no proof of such datum.
I had given up hope to find another
When that blue eyed Angel appeared
She captured my heart from day one
Which some might say "that's weird"
After that night, I couldn't wait for another.
She held my hand in that dark theater
Spent a day at a park, a lake
A day that felt like a dream;
That I never wanted to wake
Put it on repeat and play again and again.
The first touches, kisses
The smiles that never end
The first and last thought of each day
And with each goodbye, all the misses
The hellos that always felt like the first "hey".
Some romances
Take time to nurture and develop
A heart that grows from tenderness
And affection to a glorious build up.
Often thought out, nothing left to chances.
Give me the flame that just won't stop
The heartbeat going zero to sixty
In two point three seconds
The days you never want to end
Never caring what's around the future bend.
Their voices, their smiles
Their eyes, those beautiful eyes
Memories stop being of places and times
They start being of them
And when you get to see THEM, again.
Give me that love
From the first moment to the last;
Forever burned on your heart and mind
The hopeless romance, hopeless no more
It started with a Hi, that forever love.

Young Love
You will never love more fiercely
Then when your young.
Never love so much as before
The hurt of heartbreaks.
Never love with such passion
As the unexpected romance.
Love in an open heart
Is wild and full of fire.
You will never smile more
Then those first hello's.
You will never think of the what if's
More then in those first moments.
But it's what's left after the aftermath
Of a thousand firsts.
It's the love that sinks and anchors
That's made to be everlasting.

A dream of freedom
A dream of freedom
The ramparts exploding over yonder
Shouts and cries, rejoice and terror;
For freedom and family I ponder.
The revelry echoes in the distance
A banner waves, torn and tattered;
Yet our hopes and mercies are not shattered.
Boom! Boom! The cannons roar on!
Ricochets and earth are flying,
Without recourse, the soldiers March on!
Fire! The Colonel shouts! and rifles bellow.
Cavalry galloping, Forward men!!
This field shall not be left hollow!
Explosions! The men fight with vigor and valor!
Onward! This land is ours!
That brave militia corps.
It's not conquering they fight for
No lesson to be taught, or recognition to earn;
But Freedom! And the hope for something more.
A day, they can look without oppression
And see those colors true
Free men and women, having won their secession.
Those colors true! The Red, White and Blue!
Cry out in yells of glory!
Send them another volley!
This is the start of our American story!
Shouts, and cannons and lead a way!
March! March! Play on drummer lad;
Freedom is our right! And we're here to stay.
The ramparts exploding over yonder
Shouts and cries, rejoice and terror;
For freedom and family I ponder.
The revelry echoes in the distance
A banner waves, torn and tattered;
Yet our hopes and mercies are not shattered.

Stop loving you...
Stop loving you?
Might as well ask me to stop breathing.
It can't be done
Ask an eagle to stop flying,
It can't be done
A flower to stop blooming,
It can't be done
The stars above to stop shining,
It can't be done
The rivers to stop flowing,
It can't be done
The oceans to just dry up,
It can't be done
The Sun to stop rising,
It can't be done
I can't stop loving you
Anymore then, I can pull out my beating heart
It can't be done
I will love you, till there is nothing but a wrinkle
And on my final day, you will say,
"You have to stop loving me now..."
And I will say, I can't stop loving you...
Anymore then the winds blow
The stars shine, And the rivers flow,
It can't be done.
Might as well ask me to stop breathing.
It can't be done
Ask an eagle to stop flying,
It can't be done
A flower to stop blooming,
It can't be done
The stars above to stop shining,
It can't be done

It can't be done
I will love you, till there is nothing but a wrinkle
And on my final day, you will say,
"You have to stop loving me now..."
And I will say, I can't stop loving you...
Anymore then the winds blow
The stars shine, And the rivers flow,
It can't be done.
I wish, dare I say
I wish, dare I say
Don't be another leaf in the wind,
Another passerby
Here for a moment, then drifting along.
Don't be another sad love song,
Echoing in the air
Playing chords over what's becoming a growing scar.
Don't be another shooting star,
Falling from the sky
A singular wish, blink and its no more.
Don't be another moment,
A glimpse at what if, a possibility
Be the forever, staying... here you belong.
Here you belong
The leaf, the song, the star, the moment!
Were the past, is no longer a torment.
Let me be the wall, that says no further.
Let me be the shield, that says don't hurt her.
Let me be the wind,
To carry all the leaves away.
Let me be the stereo,
Changing the tune, letting a new song play.
Let me be stars,
An endless wish, day or night.
Let me be your always,
That forever moment, I wish, I wish! with all my might!
Don't be another leaf in the wind,
Another passerby
Here for a moment, then drifting along.
Don't be another sad love song,
Echoing in the air
Playing chords over what's becoming a growing scar.
Don't be another shooting star,

Flower
Flower
Sitting there I couldn't help but stare.
Her beauty was beyond compare.
She sat so elegantly within the crowd.
Neither shameful or proud.
She radiated such vibrance, just sublime.
Its as if she had her very own Ray; of sunshine.
Her arms stretched, as if to welcome all
She was magnificent, even though she was small.
Oh colorful beauty! Let me look upon thee
Perhaps, just maybe you're looking back at me.
Our moment in that garden
My forwardness, you may have to pardon.
Just one last glance, before I go
Just exquisite my darling, how you glow.
But alas, like all good things my time is spent
Remembering that day, into the garden I went.
Sitting there I couldn't help but stare.
Her beauty was beyond compare.
She sat so elegantly within the crowd.
Neither shameful or proud.

A thought if only
A thought if only
You are but a fleeting thought
A whisper in the wind
A gregarious lesson, all but taught.
You are but an echo in a canyon
A wave crashing upon the rocks, vanished;
In the deep depths, a great white's companion.
We can dance the dance
An epic chess match, move and counter;
A glorious tale at first glance.
Sweeping, we're swept away
Waltzing so casually, children at play,
Not for thyne sunset, we'd have forgotten the day.
Morning's dewy kiss
Upon my lips is such a sweetness;
Caught up in recklessness and life's bliss.
The aromatic essence of tender innocence
Coy intentions, and fire's warm attentions;
Left blanketed in abandoned suspense.
You are but a blooming rose
Left to wither and wilt;
Another tale that has come to a close.
Whisper such delicacies, just once more
Of chocolate delights and lovely yesterdays
A gentle stare as I close the door.
You are but a fleeting thought
